Not now, later.  It's very late at night, in fact, too early in the morning.  I told you I wasn't feeling that well before bed.  I went to bed but my daughter woke up and came to me..she didn't feel well either.  So that it made me to get up.  I am still up till now but have to resign to bed soon.  I need a sleep as tomorrow we'll meet with a family friend at the movie Ma Ma Mai, the classic ABBA.  Is it on the Thailand?

Nong Ning ja (let me call you this name), I see this Mamma Mia so many times including the stage show.  I love it.  It's the most successful stage musical. It, again, will be delighted to watch these big-name actors singing and dancing on ABBA tunes.  Are you still up?  I must say that I can see it why people hook on the computer..I myself start to be like that.  Cheers.

Nong Ning: Thanks for your compliment. I'm Kae but still young at heart kaa.

This is especially for JJ as requested [who is (always) curious to know all about his clans].

I have 2 daughters, aged 14 and ten.  Melisa (Beezie Bee is a nickname) is in Year 9.  Nataya Noni is in Year 5.  They both learn music: piano and saxophone.  Mel is also in a singing group.  They like sports: netball for B and hockey for N.  They also do jazz dancing on Saturday.

Me, I just resigned from my part-time job 4 wks ago.  I'm doing home-duties, painting, handicraftwork, yoga and taxi driver to and from school, activities and social engagements as needed.

My husband is retired now, stays home but he's always been busy: reserching a family history, writing a book (his autography) and doing heavily exercise.

That should be enough for the time being.

What's about you?  Not fair naja if I have no information about you guys.  But, it's been somewhere I have to find out which will take time to read all about it though.

Thanks. I consider I have a good marriage and a privilege life.  We came to live in Australia in 1994, when B was 7 weeks old. We lived here for 2 years then we moved to live in Cambodia for a year or so.  My husband worked with the EU funded project at the time.  I had a great time there even the country was unstable politically.  Life there was just not easy.  We lived in a house surrounded with a 3 metres high wall and with 24-hour security guard.  I never went out at night without my husband.  He lived at the site on the Bank of the Mekong River.  I lived with my daughter in PhnomPehn.  He came to the family during the weekend.  I never left my daughter with anybody even my maid.  She went to a kindy half a day.  I had been robbed, cheated and etc etc.  Often, the noise of the bomb blasted just outside our house.  It's an experience.

After that B and I went back to Perth for 6 months for the second daughter.  Then we moved to live in Bhutan for nearly 5 years.  Surprised!..at that time..nobody wanted to visit Bhutan.  We hardly had guests.  We had such a good life there..it's a prime time in my life.  We encountered the recent king Jigme from time to time on several social functions.  He's still studying at Cambridge (different camp from my husband, he graduated from Oxford).  Now Bhutan is hot and on the Thai map and everybody wants to go there.  We have been back and settled here for nearly 6 years.  We plan to spend time every summer holiday (Dec/Jan) in Thailand.  Our daughters can experience a culture, language and understand anything Thai on their own.

But, who knows what's next waiting for you?  We just take as a day to come and think everyday is a bless.

I can imagine the picture how your life in a different strange places could be!
It is not easy to be far away from our own family,our friends,our social contact cause a new relation could take too long to realize who is our friend and who speculates something from us!
Living abroad makes you strong automatically cause not only you yourself to care of but an instinct as a mom to protect your child...
At that time, you have to trust yourself to survive as mom and wife and as a foreigner ,this experience give you an opportunity to grow.
